Sometimes I just stumble across fun little facts and/or tidbits. When that happens, they will wind up duly noted in this category.
I must admit, shoveling snow is not much of a concern when you live in Tampa, but for my many friends in the colder climates further north, here’s a little something you probably wish you had…especially this winter. Here is the Robo Plow, built obviously by a bunch of people with a lot of time on their hands during the winter. Now, if they’d just come up with one for raking those damned Live Oak leaves. Read moreOkay, this may have been around for a while, but I had not seen it, and I’m amazed. This is a performance by a couple named David and Dania on “America’s Got Talent”. Even in one change, you can kind of see the dress change while it’s on her, but I can not for the life of me figure out how it’s done.
Read moreEach year, usually when the weather is like this in January or February, I get a visitor. She’s been coming around every year for at least five or six years, and this year she’s about a month early. She also has a boyfriend this year. Earlier this morning I heard a tapping on the sliding glass door in the dining room. When I went to look, there she was, a cardinal tapping on the door, then flying into it trying to get in, or seeing herself in its reflection. I’m not sure which.
